We are excited to invite you to a special workshop focused on incorporating Hawaiian culture into curriculum and lesson planning. This workshop aims to provide both aspiring and current educators with valuable insights and strategies for creating culturally enriching learning experiences for students.

Ka Lama Education Academy will be partnering with INPEACE Eo Program Specialist and Waiʻanae alumni, Penina Hoʻopiʻi, we are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to delve into the rich heritage and traditions of Hawaiian culture and explore ways to integrate them into educational settings.

During the workshop, participants will:

  • Gain practical tips and techniques for infusing Hawaiian culture into lesson plans and curriculum.
  • Learn from Penina Hoʻopiʻi’s expertise and personal experiences as a Program Specialist in Eo.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions and activities to explore best practices and challenges in incorporating cultural content.
