E Ka Lama o ke Kaiāulu! 

Our Ka Lama team is excited to invite you to ʻIke Kaiāulu-A Summer Huakaʻi Series exclusively provided to Ka Lama Education Academy participants! 

Huakaʻi #2 will take you to the Kupu Ola Youth Garden, an INPEACE program that collaborates with Waiʻanae Intermediate School to create alternative learning approaches that focus on strengthening academics, personal confidence, and pride in youth through the integration of Native Hawaiian culture in outdoor classrooms and interactive learning activities. 

Letʻs connect and give back while learning about one of the unique educational resources available to our community that can be utilized to discover meaningful STEM and culture-based educational experiences. 

IMPORTANT – Read carefully before completing registration: 

• Please see the attached flyer for event info.  
• Registration for this course is only for Ka Lama Education Academy participants.  
• Event registration is required to provide accurate head counts to our huakaʻi site host. 
• Participation in this huakaʻi will count as a workshop fulfillment for Ka Lama participation requirements. 
• This event is a part of a series of huakaʻi. Participants are only allowed to choose ONE huakaʻi out of the 3 offered. 
• Deadline to register: July 5, 2024 
• Detailed information for huakaʻi preparation will be sent 1 week prior to the event.
