INPEACE COMMUNITY HUB

INVESTING IN COMMUNITY, STRENGTHENING OUR ROOTS

INPEACE is launching a $8,000,000 Capital Campaign for the purchase of a building on the Wai’anae Coast, expanding on 30 years of dedication to revitalizing the local economy and enhancing educational resources.

Join us in transforming this vision into reality and creating a lasting impact for future generations.

Our Vision for a Centralized Hub of Education and Economic Sustainability

INPEACE envisions a centralized hub for educational equity and economic sustainability programs contributing to the well-being of individuals and families and the revitalization of the Leeward Coast.

The footprint and location of this new facility will increase INPEACE’s visibility and capacity to serve more individuals. Through pathways, learning experiences, and support for academic success and long-term financial well-being, we aim to cultivate stronger, more vibrant economic futures that empower individuals and families to stay in their communities and pursue their aspirations.

We envision a premier accessible location where we expand our efforts to:

  • GROW OUR OWN CERTIFIED, HIGH QUALITY TEACHERS, from within the communities we serve across the State. (From 2014 to 2023, educators who participated in Ka Lama in the 96792 complex had longer average tenure compared to those that didn’t)
  • STIMULATE the growth of small family-owned businesses to help revitalize the economy on the Waianae Coast. (In the last 4 years, 58 businesses supported from idea to market recorded profits)
  • INSPIRE STEM LEARNING through a museum-grade Native Hawaiian Traveling Science Center for individuals, families, and school groups. (Over 6,700 visitors on 2 islands, with 95% of youth visitors surveyed able to connect native Hawaiian knowledge with modern science and theory)
  • EMPOWER FAMILIES TO INCREASE THEIR FINANCIAL WELL-BEING through the use of financial literacy tools. (Over $44,000 in debt reduction for participating families in 2023)
  • STRENGTHEN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS to address the unique needs of the youth in specific communities. (Teacher development, new student resources, and alternative learning environments provided in rural schools and communities on 3 islands)
