We are pleased to announce Congressman Ed Case secured $500,000 in federal funding for the development of the INPEACE Center for Entrepreneurship, a small business incubator to assist local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The INPEACE Center for Entrepreneurship will house a space for small businesses under one umbrella, which will include INPEACE’s Ho’oulu Waiwai Business Development program. This program helps local families throughout their journey toward economic stability with starting their own business with a goal to increase the amounty of locally-owned, community grown businesses. This specialized center of resources will integrate services such as one-on-one counseling, a space to network with other entrepreneurs, group workshops and assistance with developing a business plan, a marketing plan and securing financial resources.
Lisa Pakele, Program Manager of Ho’oulu Waiwai Business Development of INPEACE commented, “Our program is committed to providing support to entrepreneurs in the community to start or grow their business. Every business we work with is on a different journey and the West O’ahu Cneter for Entrepreneurship will provide the ability to meet the unique individual needs of each businesses we are blessed to work with.”
