Between July 28 – August 19\, we will be recruiting community educators here in Waiʻanae and from Hawaiian Public-Charter schools and Hawaiian Immersions schools across Hawaiʻi to participate in our 3rd installment of Nānā I Ke Kumu\, a Professional Development Series from Ka Lama Education Academy. The series is focused on training teachers in Community Conscious Curriculum Design and aims to equip kumu with unique teaching strategies grounded in Hawaiian pedagogy and infused with place based moʻolelo and STEM teaching strategies.
