For keiki under the age of five, school work is actually school play. That is, children learn best through activities that inspire their imagination and creativity, such as building with blocks, sculpting shapes out of playdoh or drawing a pictures. Keiki Steps’ trained staff guidse keiki and their caregivers through interactive activities that help strengthen family bonds while also preparing kids for kindergarten.
Enrollment for Keiki Steps is now open for children under the age of five at elementary schools on the Leeward Coast. Families, who have children enrolled at local elementary schools, can drop older children off at class then participate in the free family child interaction learning program with their younger keiki.
