INPEACE to be a Trauma Informed Organization
The Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture (INPEACE) was awarded funding from the Children’s Behavioral Health Fund of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF) for $10,000. This is part of the Promising Minds Alumni grant to increase the healthy development of vulnerable children ages 0-5 and build resilience in those who have already experienced the negative effects of trauma. INPEACE will use this funding for an organizational wide training to transform into a trauma-informed, trauma-responsive and trauma-coordinated agency.
We want to express our most heartfelt mahalo to all donors and funders of Promising Minds, an initiative housed at the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF), for supporting keiki, families and community.
